		<description>I don&#039;t get it. Leafs management has always been a joke. The problem is on top. The top now goes and fires all the middle managers when the source of the problem is themselves. It&#039;s the structure. They are only interested in operating a successful (profitable) company. Winning has no bearing as long as the seats stay full. Any sports franchise will only win if the owner is driven to win. A committee will never have the same passion for winning as a single driven man. Sorry Toronto fans but it will be more of the same. More mediocore teams for a long time to come.

		<description>Public Relations is really put to the test with athletic teams.  Like Sarah suggests, keeping up the moral of the fan base is difficult when teams aren&#039;t doing so well.  

It is hard for me to comment on hockey, but if I associate it with a topic I am more familiar with - it would be like promoting a winery that has had a bad vintage.  Your PR techniques have to be more creative to keep the public interested.</description>
